Directly to the west of Cordova will be Windingwalk’s planned junior-senior combined high school. To the south is the planned Chula Vista University Park and Research Center, future home to High Tech High’s brand-new campus slated to be completed in 2008, among other educational and business amenities.
The drive east from Cordova along Hunte Parkway offers views of the San Miguel Mountains and the open space corridor, which runs along Windingwalk’s southeastern border.
To the northwest of Cordova will be The Marketplace, Windingwalk’s own dedicated everyday-convenience retail center. And just across the street is the brand-new Otay Ranch Town Center, a world-class shopping plaza, now open with plans for over 100 retail and specialty stores, restaurants and a movie theater.
